I'm one of the more artistic ones in the covenant/pack. I like to take pictures of everything finding the beauty in things. I've had a few of my photos shown in galleries around New Orleans. I take great pride in them, and my father encourages me so I keep striving to be good at it. I'm usually pretty easy going. Though it doesn't take much to piss me off and have me growling. Especially if your near my baby sister and looking at her wrong. I'll bit your head off then.

Hot and humid was the way my dad described the day I was born. I was born on August 2nd to Thorn and Athena LeDoux. Their firstborn, and mom was in agony having me. Dad said you could probably hear her screams all the way to the bayou. I was born around 3:30 in the afternoon when it was probably at its warmest or getting to it.
It wasn't till I was four that mom and dad had another boy. Named him Remi. Two years after him they had Maxim. Mom had a hard time with both of my younger brothers. She said with me it was a breeze up till birthing time. But with the other two it was all the way through her pregnancy. She was advised not to have any more, but she wanted a baby girl. A year later she had our baby sister Skyler. Her dream of having a baby girl fulfilled, but mom didn't survive. She died holding my sister as we surrounded her, and she made us promise to love her and take care of her for her. I'd never seen my dad cry before, but he broke down bawling like a baby. Then he got angry, and it took my uncles together to calm him down. His screams that day still haunt my nightmares. Everyone was crying, and since I was only seven I really didn't understand what was going on.
We were told mommy went to heaven and we would see her again one day. I cried too knowing things weren't right. My younger brothers were crying too. My baby sister Skyler was taken to another room with her crying non-stop to be taken care of. I remember the funeral and my dad was so distraught he wasn't even really there. After the funeral he went to drown his sorrows in a bottle of Scotch Whiskey. I don't think dad has ever recovered from losing mom, but over time he picked himself up and took care of us kids loving us and trying to make up for mom being gone. I don't think he's ever looked at another woman either since mom died.
Some of my early memories that I have are of mom taking me to museums and places of art. She'd loved to paint and draw. Some of her paintings still hang in our apartment here at Sanctuary. There's also a couple down in the bar with a memorial to her. I got my love of art from her, and going to the museums. My younger brothers didn't remember much of it, but I do. They were both too young to really even remember. All of the covenant shares memories of my mother with my siblings and I so as not to let her memory fade away.
I asked dad for a camera when I was about nine as I had been borrowing his phone or my aunts to take pictures of things that interested me. Instead of going and buying one for me he went back to his room. When he came back out he was carrying a camera case in his hands, and few tears were straying down his cheeks. I recognized that camera as my mom's favorite that her parents had given her when she was little. Dad handed it to me, and on it was an envelope with my name on it. Dad said she had wanted me to have it, and that she'd left me a letter along with it. He hugged me as we cried for a little while. Then he let me go back to my room alone to read the letter. I've never told anyone what it said either. I have it hidden away with my other treasures. As for the camera I treasure it for it was hers. There is a picture hanging on my wall that someone snapped of me taking a picture of something with the same camera as I sat in my mother's lap. I couldn't have been more than three. We were both smiling in the picture. I've won lots of ribbons taking pictures with this camera.
Having freedom to run the streets of the quarter when I was a child I used to visit her grave as much as I could. I still do. There's a bench there, and I got and sit on it and talk to her pouring my heart out. Getting her caught up on what has been going on with everyone. What I have accomplished, and that I miss her more than anything. I've noticed my brothers visit once in awhile too. I don't know if Skyler has ever been to tell you the truth. My father doesn't miss a day going to visit mom's grave. Rain or shine or snow.
I changed for the first time into a werewolf shortly after my sixteenth birthday. Closing my eyes I could imagine mom running right there beside me with the rest of the pack. Dad was definitely there for me and later my brothers and finally Skyler when she turned sixteen. Just as I was. I'm always helping out with my younger siblings and keeping an eye on them. I feel closer to my mom when I'm out there running as a wolf. I can't really explain it or how I feel.
I was also allowed to start working in the bar when I turned sixteen. Though I helped out more in the kitchen often on dishwasher duty. I didn't mind. I was with my family and friends so that was what mattered. Sanctuary is the name of the pack/covenant bar and grill. It's a sanctuary for the supernatural of the world too. it's been in the families for generations now. My uncle Jacob is the alpha of the pack now. His father Justice having stepped down and letting my uncle who was more than capable of doing so. Jacob is married to my Aunt Candy, my dad's sister. His other sister my Aunt Kayla is married to Jacob's brother James.
So I am twenty-three now, and I am still working at Sanctuary. I love it here, and couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Well it was New Years Eve and the party there had been in full swing. I was working the bar with my cousin Orion that night, and it was definitely non-stop. At least it made the time go by faster. The countdown to midnight began before I even realized it. With the cheers that came at the time changing to twelve it was deafening in there. So I wondered if that's why it felt like the bar was shaking.
Nope we were having a major earthquake. Unprecedented as it was uncalled for in our area. I must of blacked out because when I came too it was getting light out. When I got up with the others and stepped outside I gaped wondering where we were. We were still at Sanctuary, but we definitely weren't in New Orleans any longer. Walking outside we saw others coming from other misplaced buildings looking around in the same shock that we were. Now it's time we learn to survive and fight for our lives.

Jordan was grinning, and he started to say something, but got a weird look on his face as he was definitely thinking now. Images of the food were coming to mind, but he couldn’t for the life of him think of the names of the establishments the food was at. Now that he thought about it parts of it were blurry, but for the memory of the food and how it tasted. Thinking some more he let out a laugh. “Now that I think about it I can tell you the foods, but not the places.” He smirked as he chuckled a little more. “Cause we usually hit them after our pub run even though we eat a bunch while at the pub.” He was trying to piece together where they went after their pub run. He knew his wallet was usually empty the mornings after. The bar tab was only paid once a month so it hadn’t all been spent there either. “Well there is a Shepherd's pie to die for, at one of the places. Another has some excellent Applewood smoked BBQ Ribs. Oh there’s the lemon-herbed chicken that seems to melt in your mouth. There’s a sticky toffee pudding somewhere too that blows your mind.” He stopped to think some more about the food. “Josh always gets the steak and Kidney pie somewhere that’s in a bread bowl. I hate the kidney part though.” He admitted, but if it was something she liked. “Oh there’s Cornish pasties that are awesome, uhh somewhere too.” He furrowed his brow knowing they had to be here in Diagon Alley somewhere. He knew if he looked he’d recognize the place, but he still couldn’t think of the names of the places. “Hey you should join us for a pub night sometimes! Almost every one there is a Quidditch player or in the business of Quidditch. It’s not very well known in the community though to be honest. It’s been around for years though, cause my dad and his buddies used to hang out there. He’s the one who told us about it.” He grinned at her.
Jordan laughed hearing her and shook his head. He had more than his share of Quidditch things. He didn’t think he had better admit that though. Especially when he kept adding to it. Though the place where he and his brothers lived was more than big enough for it. Their friends were always crashing at their place. “Never know when something new might come in handy.” Was all he said to that. He grinned widely at her. “No definitely no lover. The youngest of the Matheson’s. Drew and Angel. Angel has her own Quidditch gear and clothes, but ours just seem to disappear and show up later with her either carrying it or wearing it. Since that’s been happening since she was little we are used to it now, and just replace it.” He shrugged since it was nothing new to him, and would probably still be happening when they were old and gray. “She’s not spoiled either. She works for what she gets the same as us boys. If she’s not thinking about Quidditch she has animals flocking to her.” He knew that could get a little overwhelming at times. He pointed over at the bookshelf in the far corner when she asked about the books. “There’s a whole section of books over there.” He grinned at her wondering if she had a one track mind when she came in here. He definitely didn’t. “Or you could come over and check out our library, and borrow some books.” He offered. He could spend hours in this store, and go back looking again seeing something he had missed the first time. Which sometimes wasn’t a good thing cause if it was something cool he’d pick it up for his siblings too. With how much he picked up he had bags full which was hard to get home then. Trying to apparate with that much stuff was unbearable. After losing some of his stuff one time he started taking the knight bus home.
“Follow me darling.” Jordan grinned when she asked about the gloves. He led her over to the gear section and pointed out the display of gloves that they had that was pretty impressive of the new brand Ollie’s Gloves. There were practically every color you could imagine there. “Ollie is a friend of mine. When he comes up with something new he has me and some others try his stuff out. After I try them out if they're good then I send whatever it is to Angel to try out at Hogwarts. If it’s not ready I let Ollie know for sure, and he works on it till he perfects it.” He explained to her. Sometimes it was a lot of fun trying out whatever Ollie came out. Other times it was disastrous. His brother Gregory had ended up at St Mungo's after one of those incidents. His mother had sent him more than one angry howler over that one. What was great was she had sent them to Ollie too telling him he better get his head on straight! “What’s awesome about these gloves too is that they come in one size, but they form to your hands after you put them on. So they are perfect then!” He said handing his items he had picked up to the clerk who came over to take them from him so he could pick up more if he wanted to. He hadn’t even noticed the girl checking him out and giving him a come hither smile.
