Calm, cool, and collected...not exactly the best way to describe me. When I was younger, I was definitely more feral than anything. I learned to control my anger enough as I got older. I still have my moments of anger, but that's really only when you mess with my family. Now? I'm more calm, cool, and collected than I have been in the past, but that's still not a way to describe me. I'm not always serious though. I do love to have a bit of fun and joke around, especially when it comes to being a father.

The Vieux Carre, the Old Square, the Crown Jewel of New Orleans - When I think of where I was born and raised, those three names are always at the forefront of my mind. My family dates back to the beginning of the French Quarter's history and to this day, we still run the area.

My name is Jacob Garard and I am the oldest son of Justice and Liberty Garard. I was born in New Orleans on April Fool's Day, which is a day that is celebrated with a big parade in New Orleans. It may not be as big of a celebration as Mardi Gras, but it's still filled with a lot of laughter and fun. My parents, now elders of our Covenant, were amazing, doing everything they could for me, as well as my brothers when they were born.

I was a bit of a wild child though, taking on the term "feral" as a descriptor of me. I really loved being out and about and just having fun instead of being cooped up and having to sit down and learn. I struggled a little bit in school because of that, but I managed to at least graduate. However, that's getting a little ahead of myself. I loved the French Quarter, being able to just play and have fun without too much worry since everyone looked out for everyone there. It's still like that today.

As I already said, school sucked and I struggled a bit in it, but only because I hated having to sit down and learn from a book. I preferred experiencing things first hand. That's the way I learned the best, and still is to this day.

I grew up with my wife and was in love with her since I was young. I always thought she was beautiful, even when I went through that stage where boys don't like girls and girls don't like boys. My mom would always tell me, "That's because you two are meant to be together as mates." I believed it too, and always knew that we would eventually marry. And so we did, right after high school.

Now, we have six beautiful and amazing children. My daughters definitely can get away with just about anything when it comes to me, but my sons definitely aren't neglected either. They defintely are growing into better men than I could ever hope to become myself, and that's they way I love it. My children see the more playful side of me more than anyone else.

Life has been nothing but great, in my opinion. The French Quarter is thriving, Sanctuary (the bar and grill that the Covenant families here co-own) is thriving, my family is thriving. I can't really ask for anything else. But that was until an earthquake happened and my family and covenant have been thrown for a loop.

We are no longer in the French Quarter in New Orleans. We're in a place called Dark Haven, in the middle of the country. I'm not sure what's going on, but what I'm quickly realizing, it doesn't sound very good with what's coming.

Logan got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around his waist after he dried his hair. He wiped the foggy mirror with his hand and quickly ran a brush through his short hair. He wasn't too worried about styling it, since he was just going to mess it up anyway after he pulled a shirt over his head.

Instead, he walked out of the bathroom and over to the little dresser where he put what little clothes he could stuff in his saddle bags, an extra pair of pants and a couple of shirts plus some socks. He pulled the towel off of him and dropped it on the floor, not even caring if Angel, who was still asleep in his bed, woke up and saw him in the buff.
